Versatile Vegetation Management The Contractor Collector excels in managing long/wet grass, scrub-land, heather, bracken, gorse, and wildflower areas. Its heavy-duty design allows it to handle a wide range of vegetation types, making it a versatile tool for contractors and conservationists. Durable Construction Built to withstand arduous conditions, the machine features a large diameter rear roller (200mm) and a hardened cast hammer type flail. These components ensure durability and efficient performance even in the toughest environments. Efficient Cutting and Collection The cast hammer flails, 1.4kg weight, can cut through material up to 100mm in diameter fixed to the rotor with an 18mm bolt. The flails’ ‘shovel’ design effectively throws cut material into the hopper, ensuring efficient collection without needing additional draft or wind paddles. Easy Maintenance Maintenance is simplified with the rotor inspection door, providing full access to the blades and rotor from above. This feature allows for quick and easy blade changes and cleaning, ensuring the machine is always ready for the next task. Model Variations Available in a range of widths from 1.2m to 2.2m, the Contractor Collector offers ground tip and high tip options to suit different operational needs. The special SUPER model features a stronger, heavier build for the most demanding conditions. Advanced Features for Tough Conditions Equipped with a heavy-duty gearbox with overrun clutch and ‘V’ belt drive to the rotor, the machine ensures reliable power transmission. The floating linkage allows the machine to follow ground contours effectively, ensuring an even finish on undulating terrain. Machined heavy duty ‘shock’ proof bearing housings are great for where obstacles may be hidden in long grass/vegetation. HD Machined Bearing Housing: Heavy-duty, shock-resistant bearing housings designed to withstand hidden obstacles in long grass or dense vegetation.
